– A2608 T GEARED HEAD DILLING MACHINE
GENERAL INFORMATION
ARBOGA A2608T has a drilling capacity of 25mm. The gearbox is built according to our experienced methods for highest possible torque. Helical gears combined with steel gears against reinforced fibre gears in the main gear box ensure higher operation efficiency, a more powerful drive mechanism and smooth operation. Both the drill head and the table arm are adjustable 360° around the column and can be raised and lowered. Machine is equipped with a top-motor, which is dust and waterproof according to IP-54 standard.

- Drill head – The drill head is adjustable 360° around the column and can be raised and lowered.
- Gear box – The gear box is built according to our experienced methods for highest possible torque. Helical gears combined with steel gears against reinforced fiber gears in the main gear box ensure higher operating efficiency, a more powerful drive and – smooth operation. The noise level and maintenance of the gear box is reduced to a minimum.
- Spindle – The spindle is mounted in ball and roller bearings and the lower spindle roller bearing is placed as near to the lower part of the spindle as possible, ensuring greater precision and stability. It is adjusted by the journals in the bearing, which guarantees very small tolerances. The spindle is counterbalanced by a tension spring and the spindle return can be adjusted depending on the weight of the tool. There is also a built-in tool ejector for rapid tool exchange.
- Motor – A2608T is equipped with a top-motor, which is dust and waterproof according to IP-54 standard.
- Table – The table is made from high quality cast iron, complete with T-slots and coolant channel. The table is mounted on a rigid arm turntable, turning 360° around the column. An easy to reach crank handle is fitted for elevating and lowering the table to the correct working height.
- Column – The column is made from steel, ensuring machine rigidity and precision with the minimum of deviation from the stipulated angle between the drill and the table.
- Base plate – The machine is equipped with a plane base plate.
- Safety – The machine is supplied with a thermal switch, no-volt release and emergency stop. Chuck guard is standard within CE area. (Optional outside CE area.)

- Coolant equipment – Complete tank (15 l), pump with switch and all tubing’s with accessories.
- Tool package – Machine vice, 2 x T-slot nuts, Chuck 1-13 mm B 16 Metabo with arbor, Reduction sleeves
- Foot operated start switch – Start and stop pedal. Only for spindle motor, not for power feed.
- Hand reversing switch – Hand reversing switch for manual tapping.
- Machine light – MSC Machine light, LED lamp
- Drill chuck with arbor – 0-13mm, 3-16mm or 5-20mm

- Chuck guard with/without micro switch – Chuck guard with micro switch is standard on machines within EU.
