FEATURES
HYPERTHERM HPR 130 Plasma Source
The DURMA model PL 1530 plasma cutting machine is equipped with the Hypertherm HPR 130 high performance plasma source. (model HPR 260 is optional). The Hypertherm HPR 130 contains circuitry to ignite a torch plus a heat exchanger and pump to cool the torch. It has a serial interface to communicate with the CNC controller. Model HPR 130 is capable of cutting Steel dross free – 16mm, Steel edge cutting – 38mm, Stainless steel – 16mm, Aluminium – 16mm.
Siemens Controller
The Siemens controller is an extremely powerful unit. It provides maximum dynamic speed and acceleration with extreme positioning precision.

DURMA interface
Durma has developed its own interface and a complete cutting library for all standard cutting applications. The database includes the cutting parameters for standard materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminium) for common thickness ranges.
DURMA Rigid Construction
The DURMA model PL 1530 plasma cutting machine is a 2D system. It features rigid bridge type construction with bearing linear guideways. The precision rack and pinion system moves the bridge on the Y1 – Y2 axis and torch carrier on the X axis. The CNC controller synchronises the Y1 – Y2 movement. The double side drive system allows backlash free, high cutting quality.
Torch Height Control (THC)
Command THC by Hypertherm is a torch height control system. The system uses the plasma arc voltage to control the physical stand off (distance) between the torch and the workpiece.

Software
CAD/CAM software features:

Ignition Consol
Torch ignition plus a heat exchanger and pump to cool the torch.
Bed Construction
Compartments in the bed maximise the efficiency of air suction (Suction / filter units are optional). Pneumatic cylinders control stop gates so only the area being worked is open.
