Who we are

Leabourn & Rose Ltd is a New Zealand importer of quality machine tools – founded by Kevin Leabourn & Alan Rose in 1978.

In 2012 Kevin’s son Andrew Leabourn became Managing Director and has continued growing the business, supplying the entire New Zealand market and South Pacific region.

Our products

Our products range from affordable conventional machines to the most advanced CNC machine tools. With 40 plus years of machine tool importing experience we aim to provide quality brand named machine tools of an international standard.

We therefore distance ourselves from cheap imports and the “supermarket type selling” of machinery. Instead, we focus on offering top notch technical support and presenting new innovations that will improve businesses by saving time & cost, improving production and ensuring safety.

Our machine tools include Press Brakes, Guillotines, Laser & Tube Cutters, Plasma Cutters, Bandsaws, Cold Cutting Saws, Machining Centres, Lathes, Bed Mills, Drills, Iron Workers, Plate Rollers, Mandrel Benders, Sectional Rollers, Press Brake Tooling, Punches & Dies, Belt Grinders and much more.

We have access to products from all around the world, including the USA, Europe and Asia. The high-quality brands we work with include DURMA, HANS LASER, HARTFORD, GOODWAY, GOSAN, HARDINGE, BRIDGEPORT, EKO, MACC, CARIF, ERCOLINA, EURAM, LINMAC, JESSEY, SCANTOOL, ARBOGA, ZOPF, AMERICAN PUNCH, and PHOENIX.
